    Taken off the front porch just around sunset. Levels and sharpening in LR3.

    I like the late evening blue shade you got here. With the bird so small in the frame the comp doesn't work for me as is. I'd suggest cropping heftily below and right - thus tucking the dove in the LRC. This would add much needed interest in your comp, and would also make the large tangle of branches in ULC work better as a balancing aid instead of a messy distraction.

    Good job in making the image a true silhouette with solid blacks.

    I like the silhouette and light in the BG and agree that a tighter crop would work better since the branches on the left compete with the subject.

    Nice image Don. Tighter crop as per Daniel's suggestion would help - the subject needs a bit more strength.
