Used Tiffen DFX Ver2 to convert to an aged photo. Then added a tiny bit of blur and grain in CS4. Hope it stands up. :)

Akos, Anyway you present this image is a winner! I just love the dark BG for this -it really makes the Owl stand out. The color tones look great.:)

Love this one, Akos! I have a feeling this is going to be a very tough theme to judge :) Love the pose and the sepia tone adds a lot to it.

Hey, Akos, where have you been? We've missed you in OOTB! The owl and the application are gorgeous.
I love the dark background and the owl seems to glow. Great work:)

Thanks for the kind words guys. In fact there is a special story to how I managed to snare this and my favorite Barn Owl image in flight. You can read about the method here.

Thanks for welcoming me back too. :) I have been flat out and have a new job. love it too!

Hi Ákos, good to see you here again!! I love this image, both technically as well as fitting the theme. I can imagine an old-tyme photog with a big old flash and a pile of spent bulbs on the ground! Nice! :)

P.S. - congrats on the new job! I'm working on that one myself...

Agree with Denise. I love the way the face stands out, the heart shape emphasized, and the owl looking straight at me.
