This time I wanted to try a kodachrome 64 style photo... this is the Pigeon Pt Lighthouse off Hwy 1. The process involved reducing the dynamic range using levels and somewhat de-saturating the image. Bring back contrast using curves. Then use hue and saturation selectively on red and blue channel. Added a bit of noise to create the final image. Hope you like it...

Indranil, The grain and saturation look very much like the kodachrome 64 style photo that you are trying to re-create. I like the way it has a slight haze also. The comp. is tight on the left-but I think that adds to the older style. Nicely done.

Very nice, Indranil. I like your composition with the lighthouse and moon. The color saturation and noise definitely achieved the look you desired.

Like the effect. Gosh, how I just could not stand that emulsion. :) I agree about tight LLC, but love the way you placed the moon (albeit a little small) at the UR ROT point. Well done Indy. :)

    Nice image and application, Indrani.

Looks like a very slight CCW rotation could be applied, based on the building foundation. But in those days??? Maybe it is too square! :D

Indranil, nice use of filters - I like the color saturation and the composition.:)
