    I converted the image to b&w, added black border, ragged edge effect (from online tutorial), then added sepia tint..I used ocean ripple filter on letters to give it old worn feeling...Thanks

    Frosano Verperrino - Italian name for Evening Grosbeak..

    Paul, Nice work giving this image some age. I like the Italian words;)w/ the treatment. The color tones in the BG and the worn look are very well done.

    Paul, I love the bg - it has a really old look to it. And the Italian name adds a nice touch.

    Ocean ripple on the letters??? You are so imaginative! I think this is one of the best toned images we've had on OOTB - I can almost see an old italian postmark in the corner as if it were a stamp. Just lovely! I especially love how you can tell the direction the light was coming at the bird even with all your changes. Good stuff!!!
