Purple Sandpiper

I added the Wet on Wet brush preset from the DAP program. I liked the bit of purple it added to the image and since this is a Purple Sandpiper I thought it would be nice. I masked back in some details on a layer mask at approx. 20% and increased the opacity in areas I wanted some more of the detail like the eye.

i love the original of this. awesome work!! i like this one too but might not mask as much detail in the feathers back. the purplish hue works for me too. a very nice touch!!!

Love everything about this: the rock, the BKGR, the purple sheen, the ruffle, and the whole painterly deal. My only problem is in the ORIG: the proximity of the bill to the rock. Not much you could have done about that.

Great thinking. It did not connect with my brain that there were two rocks and it shouldn't be too hard for a Photoshop whiz like yourself :) Can't wait to see the repost.
