Along the lines of the question about Topaz reask. How much better are Topaz noise reduction and Topaz detail compared with the respective tools in PS? Are they worth buying?

I have not used detail to much but for the noise reduction there is no comparison to the built in PS, any 3rd party app is way ahead of it

I have heard from a few people that Topaz has one of the best noise reduction software packages

I've been using Topaz Detail for a few months and find it worth the $40 it cost. Very nice for bringing out really fine details, such as in feathers.

i use them both in my opinion are good programs . i use the remask , denoise , detail , and adjust ... special i like a lot the denoise ( verry good job ) and remask .. topaz also have a suite with programs .. 5-6 is in i i think .
