    Default Ethiopian Wolf

Endemic to the mountains of Ethiopia and in serious danger, less than 500 survive in fragmented populations. Although they look a little fox-like, they are closely related to timber wolves.

Shot at the Sineti Plateau, Bale Mountains, at 4,000m altitude.

Indeed, a very nice portrait. The foreground almost looks B/W if you didn't see the occasional flower heads. The word 'wolf' does conjure more the American version rather than this, which I do agree looks more fox like, or perhaps Dingo(?)

Absolutely lovely, in habitat, colour etc! Ignacio. One of the best photographs of this canine that I have seen!

    Esta majisimo!
Gorgoeus lookoing creature with perfect pose and head angle in a very nice habitat. The yellow flowers lend a very nice touch. If I were to change anything, would be a sliver off the left, totally subjective. Enhorabuena, congratulations :)

    Hi
What a gorgeous image! The subject is nicely exposed and really stands out especially with the almost monochromatic effect of the scrub around it! Congrats!!
