Sorry could not participate for some time as I was out towards north India on a birding trip. Made this on the trip in Goa.

Have cloned out some distracting branches at the bottom.

You can call this one "Mastering the art of exposure". Incredible detail on the white plumage.
Maybe tone done just a tiny bit the brightest parts on the left leg. The bird is a beauty,
and you could hardly get a better pose. Not sure about the leaves in the LL corner,
I would either include some more of that or remove them completely.
    Really great shot, congratulations!

Kiran, You really got a nice action shot here. I love the feather detail and the exposure on the this. The landing pose is fantastic w/ the legs fully extended. I agree w/ Ilija regarding the leaves.

Kiranbhai, I was wondering where you were. I havent seen this species before, and just love the overall exposure and detail. I like the intense landing posture, and by removing the leaves LLC, I feel it wont affect your comp.

Agree the leaves don't help, but what worries me is the perch, looks like a rusty piece of metal rod, what is it Kiran, well that is where the eagle decided to land and we can do nothing about it, well done exp, sharpness, regards L

Just food for thought and another look. Beautiful subject and outstanding action!
The technicals all look good as well as the over-all presentation.

How do you feel about this crop? The foreground element was cropped out and a bit of a crop top and right to balance the image. I also took a very small amount of red using auto levels in a layer - about 25% opacit

Lovely landing pose and IMO James's crop is better. light is perfect so is detail and sharpness, there is some hint of noise which can be removed by gentle NR. TFS

Like Froggie's repost! Still, the OP is pretty good Kiranbhai! I love the landing pose brother. Absolutely perfectly nailed. You are a master of India's raptors! Thanks so much for sharing. :)
