    Default Brown Honeyeater

A fairly plain bird and not so brown but someone must have thought so.

Removed a flower bud spike that lookedlike it was growing out of the bird's back. I'm afraid I haven't got my web prep quite right yet and the bird is a bit less sharp than the original.

Colin, this looks sharp enough for me...especially the face area. I like the bird, foraging behaviour, and the techs look good. What you needed to do here is point your lens down as there is just too much space above, and not enough below (I'd love to see a bit more of those cut flowers).

P.S. A bit more cleaning up needs to be done where you cloned out the flower...

Colin - Great timing, sharpness, and HA. I might try to burn in the plant highlights a bit.

I like the angle, eye contact and feeding behavior. Adding to the other comments, I would tone down the highlights some more.
