Default Theme - Old Photos - Alligator Farm circa 1826

I guess I'll get things rolling this week. I started out with an egret from the Alligator Farm that I took this year.
I changed the image to sepia. then added textures from flickr (thanks to Barbara and Cindy for links from Texture
    week) http://www.flickr.com/photos/2780555...7609803359307/, then added a
slight texturizer layer, added a small border and then an old photo filter overlay which created a frame (although
I didn't expect it to - but I liked it).

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Cheryl, This really does look like an old photo. If the theme wasn't "old photos" I'd suggest cropping out the busy top section-but an old photo would look just like this! Really nice color toning to give it some age. I'm not crazy about the frame-but again it totally fits the theme. Nice work.

this really had a great vintage feel Cheryl, with the sepia toning - the textures add alot too. I really like the comp to begin, there's alot to see and enjoy about this one. Very well done! :)

Nice, vintage feel to this, Cheryl. I think the frame adds to that feel nicely without taking attention away from the subject. I might like to see more detail in the bird, though it might just be my monitor.

Very nice beginning..I think the structure in background adds to the old look of this image..toning looks spot on..
