    ISO 400 f7.1 1/5000 exp comp -1/3 (from shooting Whiskered Terns earlier)
    Could have played around with the mess under the wing but decided to leave it.

    I like the pose and the detail. The stuff under the wing doesn't bother me as it is naural. The BG is good with the tail just above the water line.

    The Good exposure and High SS gave a Crisp sharp Detail on the Bird, The bit of Habitat Helps the Image also, Great timming!!

    Very nice image it has a neet feeling to it good exsposure

    I like this, Rob. Great pose, BG and I really like the water and vegetation. Exposure looks good - you may be able to extract a little more detail from the far wing. In my experience the -1/3 isn't a bad idea to protect the white face.

    I like the comp and the OOFBG works very well. Not sure about the grass though. (if it was not as sharp and bright I would have preferred it)

    Nicely done Rob, I think the exposure is spot on, great sharpness and detail...I too think you could pull a little more detail out of the far wing. The grass is okay...I would prefer just a bit more room on the right.
