    D300, 400 2.8, 1/4000, f6.7, iso400, man exp.
    I was working two rams when they dropped behind small hill, I popped over top of hill to find him in my face. Slight crop for comp.

    Nice detail and lighting for the given conditions Todd. Are their eyes always half closed?

    Good in your face portrait, light angle not the best, providing shadows.
    This one has seen a few battles :)

    Good looking Ram with a cool expression, sharp and love the tight crop !!
    They sure are fine looking with good light !!!

    I must say I would have preferred more open eyes, other than that this is delightful.

    Thanks for the comments guys, even though the temps were at times below 0 we did get some bright sun. I too would have preferred fully open eyes.
