I like the head-on view, soft light and angle. There are artifacts in the BG, probably due to jpg compression and I wish the branch in the foreground were not there.

These are such difficult birds to photograph and this is quite an unusual setting for the kestrel. Love the pose and how is talons are holding on. I agree with Axel about the branch but some things are unavoidable ! Many thanks for sharing Phil.
