Hi Jan. I love the colors on these guys!

I think the crop is a little tight all around. Looks like he could benefit from some sharpening too.

Lovely pose and eye contact. Too bad he didn't have some food to pose with. :)

Hi Jan, Nice image. You captured an interesting pose. I like that you can see the fanned tail. I like the background as it provides me a sense of habitat without being too distracting. I thought the reds on the birds throat were lacking detail so I checked in Photoshop and the red histogram does show some clipping. A small adjustment of the colors revealed nice detail. Thanks for sharing.

Like the posture. Ditto sharpness & crop. Still a great effort.:)

Jan, A lovely POV of my favorite BE. AA bit more contrast require for my liking, and maybe some work on the BG on the dark spots. But still a wish;list picture for me!

Great timing Jan and I love the action you captured in this image. Agree with the above comments on the crop. Would love to see these beauties one day. Many thanks for sharing Jan.

I like the idea here Jan. I feel the crop is a bit tight and yes the bird could do with some sharpening. Good effort here!

Tough job getting such a shot in focus. a bit lacking in details but still very nice, one thing that looks funny is the black halo in the lower left feathers of the tail maybe an artifact of masking? TFS
