Canon 50D and 24-70 2.8L lens w/ Singh-Ray Vari-ND to slow shutter speed; handheld.

Horizontal pan image processed with Nik software (Dfine, Viveza, Sharpener Pro and I probably did something in Color Efex just so it would feel left out!).

Ed, The colors and the "scratchy" texture are fantastic. I only wish the top upper left mound were either more defined or not there. But it is what it is and it is still lovely.

Thanks Denise. I was a little concerned about those trees on the left but in the final analysis left them in because they were there. I did also shoot another piece of the wetland without trees in the background but didn't like the layering of water and reeds as much. So it goes. We strive for perfection and get as close as we can!
