Today, at Shark Valley (ENP) with the Miami-Dade crowd, a fight broke between two females Anhingas. Probably about a male, because we are in courting season. They were at it for a while, feathers and water flying in every direction. I have a lot of different takes.
I wish I was on a smaller aperture at the time, and didn't want to risk changing settings.

Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV (Thanks Al)
    Lens (mm): 360
    ISO: 640
    Aperture: 5.6
    Shutter: 1/1600
    Program: Manual

Nice action. I've not seen them fighting and those beaks are a nasty weapon. Pity about that blob of water that partly obscures the beak interaction.

Thanks, Colin. It's not water but feathers!

Hi Fabs, This image really captures the intensity of the action. The blur of the wings and all of the water drops flying about is quite dramatic. I can almost hear the flapping of the wings on the water. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice, Fabs. Love the action here. Does it need some slight CCW rotation?
