    Here is another one of the Cedar Waxwing without it's head moving.

    Taken @ the Fletcher Wildlife Garden in Ottawa, Ontario.

    Sony A700 + Sony 18-250mm, 250mm, 1/250, f/8, ISO 640, Handheld, Heavy Crop.

    Bird is well exposed, it lost feather detail because of the crop. You could try and darken the borders to minimize the distracting BG. Thanks for sharing it!

    Hi Jeff Would try shooting wide open to maximize the shutter speed and reduce dof Need to get closer to the bird and at a lower angle ... easier said than done !!!

    Thanks Fabs & Alfred. I hope to see these birds this coming spring now that I have the Sigma 120-400mm. This will allow me to get a little closer than the Sony 18-250mm I was using for this photo.
