    Image made in January on a coastal lake in Point Pleasant, NJ using my 30D and 400mm f/5.6L tripod-mounted.

    Hi Ed,

    I think cropping a little more from the top will allow your main subject to stand out more. You did well with the exposure and details.

    Thanks, Maxis. I will work with the cropping and see what I think. I am so accustomed to the male Canvasbacks that I wasn't sure what I thought of this female image. So I am pleased to hear that you think the exposure and details look good.

    Any other comments? Anyone?
