    This is what I saw when the park (ENP) opened this morning. OF course, when we walked in, they move to the other side :) We even had some Spoonies! And a good Anhinga fight :)

    That is a lot of birds !!! ... I'm sure there was a fish kill and they are feasting !!!

    I haven't seen that many birds in 4 years. Maybe it's coming back.

    Shark Valley is a great Place and the picture proves it. Last January within 50 feet I had all the wadingbirds but a yellow-crowned night heron. It was a feast :)

    Fabs, wow a picture is worth a million words!!! Hey, with your experince, looks like a 100-400mm, and a 70-200m is the ticket, as the 500mm looks big to bring down, and cart around Any advice. Thks

    Don, I only used the 100-400, handheld. Wish I had taken the flash because it was partly cloudy.

    Fabs, thks so much for the reply. It's about a 15 mile loop,if i remember! I guess i'd better travel lightly, going to bring the bike! I was thinking, how in the world was i going to carry the 500mm? on a bicycle.:) :)
