    The colors here are lovely. The birds angle is fine, perch is very interesting, soft but with detail.

    In a perfect world, I wish the perch material didn't go up as high as the head, so there was more separation from the birds head. You might be able to play with the brightness of the perch material a bit to help separate the birds brightness from the perch.

    There is a little noise creeping in.

    Very striking photo.

    Lovely little fellow with very nice detail and sharpness. Nice monochromatic palette. Perch size covered by RAndy, thanks for sharing it!

    I really like the colours and the nice warm feel to the photo. Cropping some off the bottom for a horizontal look would take some of the emphasis off the bloom. Dave

    Nice photo. I especially like the exposure; it appeared to be so well balanced to me, with nothing too bright or too dark. I liked the depth-of-field that you got from using f/8, but I might have shot it at 400 ISO and f/5.6 for extra detail and smaller grain. Thank you for sharing it!
