    Taken yesterday at a quick stop at a local bird sanctuary. Three very co-operative Turkeys reside here. Light was overcast which I think is good light for these birds.

    800ISO f5.6 at 1/400th

    Love the detail and colour. Great portrait. I do think the overcast lighting works in this shot.

    As James mentioned, great detail and colors. They are even uglier up close! Soft light was a real plus. Well exposed.

    Perhaps a smidge more DOF to get the entire head sharp. You didn't mention your camera or lens, so I don't know what options you had to push up the ISO further to allow more DOF.

    There is a small area of dark halo just above the eye area, on the edge of head and background.

    That is one ugly...
    Superb exposure. very good details, colors and BG.
    How big of a crop is it?
    I would prefer some more room to the right.
    As Randy mentioned, a derk halo is visible.

    Gorgeous color and detail, I also see the halo. A touch more room on top and right would make this IMHO.
