This is my first post, so I hope I've done things right here.
Love photographing all birds and looking forward to seeing all your photos.
I would appreciate any kind of advice or tips.

Absolutely gorgeous! Nice warm evening light, perch suits the bird well. Everything's perfect in my opinion....
Welcome, and excellent first post! Can't wait to see your next :)

ps- though it doesn't bother me personally, others may like more room behind the bird's tail.

    Welcome Mariano,

A lovely set-up! Good light, pose and HA. Love the grasses! If this were mine I would probably add a bit more space to the top and right, as for my eye the bird is a bit close to the edge of the frame now. Otherwise excellent. Hope to see more of your work!

Welcome to BPN Mariano, and as mentioned, this an outstanding first post! The warm light, background and perch are all great. Was this a set-up perch? If so did you attract the bird there by any means? Although the bird is high in the frame, it works for me. The only thing I would do is remove or soften that small black spot on the beak. Look forward to seeing more!

Wow what a great first post, excellent detail, lovely complimentary perch, clean BG, not much advice to give except keep taking pictures of this quality as I'd love to see them :)
