    Looks like it only "autofocuses" with some of the lenses.

    Looks like they use f5.6 as the theoretical stop for autofocus functionality. I've used a 2X on my 600mm F4 and it does autofocus with enough light...although with the old 2X TC the image quaility is just not worth it. Interesting to see how this does on a really long lens.

    Not really a good test : too much USM on the images, especially crop ! :(

    First off.....if the user had any knowledge of his equipment, he would have known up front AF wouldn't work with the 200-400.

    Secondly, I can't fathom why he'd try and use it wide opn....like all other TC's, it won't be at it's best until stopped down.
