    Walking on Ft Myers beach with camera set for flight I was waiting on some pelicans to go by. Was surprised by this beauty. As I don't yet own flash, the white beach helped somewhat in lighting up the underside. Wish it was a little earlier (made at 9:15am) for less harsh light. I liked the direct eye contact in this one. 1DMKIIN 400DO ISO 200 F5.6@1/1000

    Lots of detail David Do like the eye contact Would rather have the wings fully extended they have such a nice pattern For the sky would go into the blue channel and desat a tad

    Not sure the flash would have helped much at that shutter speed but the beach sure helped !!!! Excellent !!!
