This Blackheaded Heron flew so low over the water that his left wing was dipped in the water.

I like the sharpness, eye contact and wing touching the water and might give it a tad more room at the top.

    +1 for Axel's comp comment.

    Great eye contact and HA.

The color of the water is wonderful here, makes an excellent background!

The wing touching the water makes the image, Stuart. You also captured a good head/ body angle with the bird flying toward you and the colors in the water are a plus. To my eye, the near wing seems to have some noise issues. :)

Nice sharp image, the wing touching the water is a real bonus. I agree with Axel, a little more room at the top if you have it.

Great shot Stu. Love the wing touching the water. Bird is pin sharp, a great angle and lovely colours as well.:)
