    I photographed this image while lying on the ground, handheld at sunset with my Canon 5D MK II. ISO 800, f/16.0, 1/30 sec, EF24-70mm f/2.8L USM, 52mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome.

    I find this a very appealing image. The various textures and colors make it quite interesting. I never seem to be able to make these kinds of images work and have nothing to add in terms as suggestions.

    Fascinating color patterns in those rocks. Good exposure control and I like the wide depth of field. It's a very pleasing image. If I had to make any changes, I might move a bit to the right to eliminate the darker background in the upper roght corner, but that's not a big thing in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

    All has been covered but I would like to add that it needs a big size and a place on your wall. Where was this taken.....in Arizona? Was there larger areas with this same coloring and texture?
