Awesome pose and BG, David, great view of the body and good face showing. I like the little bit of tree tops showing in LL.

Different and a nice change, David. I like the head-on stare and the upturned primaries.

I like the exposure, detail and comp.
I think the BG colour adds to the image but differ to Fabs on the tree.

Comments appreciated. I've been trying different perspectives with these birds this year. Left the tree in for balance.

Wow I love this different pose. Really gives a sense of the larger wingspan. Also like the unusual position of the head showing those staring eyes, looks like he's chasing you :)

I like the pose etc but the tree tops with their differnt color distracts me draws my eye to them and away from the subject I with remove them to my eyes making a better picture

Outstanding coming-right-at-you pose and excellent sharpness on the head and body. The comments about the tree are a matter of taste, IMO, and I think you have an excellent image either way.

Excellent headon shot, and love the overall detail. I am not too keen on the OOF tree LLC.

Great perspective I like the way the eyes are looking right at me. Looks like he wants to land right where I am sitting!! Good sharp image.

David, I absolutely love this pose/perspective. The light is great and the movement in the bird is even better. It's nice to see something different!
