    Taken at Eastern Neck Island NWR last week.
    F/8, ISO 640, Shutterspeed 1/160, Focal length 850 (600 mm lens with 1.4x teleconverter), no flash, 2:31 pm

    Great pose, perch and background. To me the colors look a little over saturated. I would add some sharpening.

    Agree with above about sharpening..but like the colors, might brighten it up abit if was mine...TFS

    Lovely pose and BG, Chris. Agree on increasing the sharpening to optimise web presentation, Pity about the stick poking up between the wings. On an uncalibrated monitor with no access to PS so can't comment meaningfully on the colours. Definite evidence of berry consumption :D

    Pretty bird with some potential. This looks over saturated and overly contrasty to me. Definitely worth looking again at the post processing on this one since the image does have nice potential.

    Nice subject. neat image. Back off on the saturation a little and sharpen, and it will be a better image.

    Lovely color of the bird and setting . Wish some more focus ,sharpness on the eye or cheek of the bird
