Hi All, Thought I'd share another image from my early Saturday morning visit to Viera. The fog provided for some interesting opportunities to play with light and color. This was captured about 30 minutes before sunrise, my first image of the day. Cheers, Jack

This image works very well for me. I love the feeling of it and the composition is very well done. I would push the colors a little more and add more sharpening.
Love the view Jack! Just out of curiosity, how frequently do you find Cabbage Palms in standing water outside of Viera? I've never seen it, but haven't explored a large percentage of the state...love the fog!
Hey Judd, I think the cabbage palms at Viera were there before the water and are all dying off. I've noticed them losing their crowns and expect they wil all die from root rot in the next few years. Jack
Hey, Jack! It's great to have you posting on BPN... I'm a little behind on my welcomes :D I really like the mood of this image, and the composition. The only thing that I think could improve it is if there was more seperation between the in focus cabbage palm and the slightly OOF focus palm that it's "touching". Really nice work.
