    Default "Dream Girl"

    “Dream Girl”

    Note:
This is an image overlay consisting of five frames, using a Lensbaby Composer. The base image was slightly under exposed, to create the hazy dreamy effect. Processed in CS4 and final touches done in Corel Painter 11.

This dreamy Lady from the garden was painted with a Nikon D300s, using a Lensbaby Composer.

    Image solution:
focal length about +/- 50mm / exposure mode @ manual / manual metering using a combination of ambient, reflective and spot modes, sampling three anchor points for even light distribution. / manual insert aperture disk of f/5.6 / shutter speed @ 1/125sec. / ISO @ 320 / white balance @ cloudy / color space @ sRGB / AF - mode @ manual / lighting solution - used two speedlights with attached diffusers ; each @ 60 degree angles; speedlights were powered down to 1/4 lumen burst on manual mode, each one behind additional diffuser panels. / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist - using macro focusing rail / electronic trigger release /

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Woohoo, Gus, they just keep getting better! You are a master at these!! I'm not sure about the contents of that lower left hand corner - the stem and part of another flower? My eye keeps going there. But that is a small nit overall. :) I love the dreamy look you are achieving.

I'm glad you like it Anita...the small semi transform on the lower left portion of the frame serves as a virtual directional anchoring point which helps give a semi-curved outline to the main stem. :)

Another winning image, like it as presented.

Do you always use sRGB in you camera for color spacing even is its a print job?
