    Default Mk4 at ISO 10,000

I was testing this morning and found this nice scene by Florida City on the way to ENP. They have the sprinkles on to save the crops, keeps them from freezing. Temp was 38 so don't think there was much danger.

Sort of liked the color in the sky with the water and new moon up top !! Sure wish I had taken the time to set it up with the tripod, instead just cranked up the ISO and let it rip by hand !!

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Congratulations on the new toy, the colors look good. Did you have high ISO noise reduction turned on?

No I didn't Axel Liked what I saw and just leaped out of the car and made a couple ... trying to make it before the color disappeared !! Use Noiseware Professional for the noise reduction.

Thanks, just curious because that is one of the settings that is turned on by default, which surprised me a bit.

I turned it off My main concern was the slow time to process the image and I do a lot of flight very early. Should give it a try sometime !!!

According to the manual the regular high ISO NR does not slow down the camera, only the 'strong' NR setting. I'm wondering what they consider high ISO, 1600 and up or 3200 and up?

Oooohh, sweet! Trying not to get ISO envy... ;) Curious as to what the SS and aperture were. Very nice.

Very nice Al, hope you had a great trip out west too bad you brought the cold weather back with you. Please keep us updated on the Mark IV as waiting before I order on as the Mark III left a bad taste as I had one of the first ones and paid dearly.

Awesome. I'm supposed to get mine on Friday. I have been checking B&H for days... all of the sudden they had one! So I ordered it. When the website refreshed after the order was placed they were out of stock :)
