Default Blue Moon over Tierra Verde

The blue moon of 2009 over Tierra Verde - Fort De Soto on 12/30/09 right behind the Gulf Pier

cropped and processed in CS4 using Nik Viveza 2 to darken the sky and brighten the foreground; and to add structure and contrast to the moon.

I like this idea Michael and have done them myself.

I will be interested on how others feel about the central location of the moon but I would have preferred it placed left or right in the frame and preferrably balanced with a larger/taller tree then the surrounding trees (to form a diagonal line between the two.

Tone, contrast, H/S good to me. Best of all, moon exposed correctly.

Yes, I'd like to see the moon out of the center. Cool colors and otherwise very nice.

Hi Michael, Good exposure all around. I also feel the moon should be off center. Too my eye there is a bit too much distance between the moon and the treeline.....

    Hey Michael,
late to the party.....I think moving it left.....blances the palms better. Since you xre moving it already.....go a bit bigger to lessen the space between the 2
