Awesome timing and it is always stunning to see the topside. Really love the hunting action here and the beautiful fanned tail. Excellent capture and no nits for me. Thanks for sharing Bill !

Bill I dream of getting a harrier image of this quality. I love the ruffled feathers on the top of the wings. If I had a minor nit it would be that I'd like to see a bit more space between the head and the right wing.

Great behavior capture Bill. The focused, downturned gaze really tells the story. I got my first Viera Harrier last week, but perched. Still hoping for a great flight capture like this.

Ouch, this hurts, lovely image, great topside view, would be even better with a little more light in the eye!

That tail spread is very impressive. I'll agree with Stephen about spacing between head and wing, but man what a great photo!

Stunning image Bill! The top side view, spread tail, and downward glance all come together with the great background and sharp details to form a fine image! Was this taken on Sunday? If so, I think I was farther down the road and missed this opportunity. Great work!

Yes Judd this image was captured at Viera on Sunday morning about 8:30 am. I'm sorry that I missed meeting you there.

I just found your harrier image. Was this taken at the same time I met you? I am impressed. Nice job. It was nice meeting you too.

This image was taken when I first stopped in the center, and just before you came over to that spot. It was just before the Harrier made its kill.
    Thanks for the kind words.

Very nice. The Harriers can be difficult to approach at Viera. Great shot.

Great pose and BG. I also would like to see the eye better.
