    This bull moose was photographed in Teton National Park during the rutting season. He had just worked over some sage bushes and was really feeling his oats.

    Canon 1D Mark III, 500mm f/4 Canon lens, f/8, 1/800, ISO 320. Full frame with no cropping. Some levels applied with some sharpening in PS.

    Beautiful light for this, although direction of light was tough on the face with the shadows cast. I might crop a little tighter from the right if mine. He does have a pretty decent rack. TFS.

    Hi Louis I like the feather detail and sharpness The sage on the rack looks just great and gives a feeling of what is going on !!! ... did you find some at the Gros Vent RV park? Had great luck there !!!
