    Default Theme - Asian Cranes

This is similar to an image I used for the last Asian theme week although a different pair of Sandhills taken this
year. I used Fractalius Rounded to simplify them, added very faint calligraphy in the bg and my chop and
framing. I haven't read any critiques since yesterday so I may need to go back and change things:)

Cheryl, I love the comp. and the chop! The faint letters in the BG are a nice touch. Great looking frame to add a bit of the black and red. One small thing, I might clean up the tiny little piece that seems to be connecting the two cranes. I love this!:)

Looks great Cheryl! I agree with Denise on all accounts. As for the symbolism of the chop color, I think to play it safe, I would have used something closer to the color of the red on the crane crowns.

    Nice image and application Cheryl.

Like the others say, some clean up would take it there. The fractalius effect is nicely done, but some "hairs" could be removed to make the image better. I note the foot areas for example. Also some cleanup of the area between the feathers on the end of the wings to open that area.

Very nice Cheryl, might just clean-up the area between the two birds as D mentioned. I like the calligraphy in the BG.

well now I know for certain that my monitor is still not calibrated right as I see none of the calligraphy :( a solid base image and your filtering lends a wonderful oriental feel. Very well done! :)

Thanks everyone for your comments - I'll try to clean it up tomorrow. Cindy, I can barely see the calligraphy
on my desktop but when I looked at it on my laptop it was too dark - I like it much better faint.

Very well done, Cheryl, I would try abd separate the two cranes cloning some white between them.

I cleaned up between the birds and some edges that were "wispy" and slightly changed the chop color to
have it mirror the cranes heads. Hope this improves it:)
