Wonderful pose and details in this image, and a fascinating looking pelican!
Very interesting looking bird with good exposure and lighting. I would like to see just a little more of a head turn and a round of USM and curves to bring out just a little more detail. The framing is well done and I appreciate you sharing this with us Nikolay.
Very unique looking pelican. Wonderful wing position and the kick in the water adds just another touch of interest.
Nickolay this looks quite different from our North American species. I especially like the red throat pouch.
Nice action here. The wingip in the water is a bonus. This to me is a good example of the rare image that would have been improved by an higher angle, one that eliminated the less than attractive shoreline.
I really like the double splash...one for the feet and one for the wingtip. The only unfortunate thing for me here is the shoreline crossing directly through behind the face.
