This is from a couple mornings ago. There were four scaup fishing in the area. This gal came up empty on this dive, but I like the water drop and her looking at me. All adjustments were made in PS Elements -- crop, NR (on the water), USM (on the bird), S/H and Brightness/Contrast (on the bird and water drop) . . . I think that's it. (And this time the image was not emailed, Gus.) Are the bird and the water drop over-sharpened, etc.? All comments welcomed.

I like it, Wendell. Everything works for me except the halo around the head and under the bill. That's an artifact of some tool -- maybe USM or shadow/highlights -- and I would fix it.

Hi Wendell can add I would crop some from the top and maybe would have compensated 1/3 less light, some of the whites are a bit over !!! I like the composition and the water dripping looks great !!!

Hi Wendell - agree with the above comments - Halo is especially noticeable and just that tad too bright in those whites.
A little crop from the top - good show :)

    Hi Wendell,
I like this one the best...I agree with the sound advice given, especially on the compensation factor...the water quality is better too...I like it Sir...keep them coming...practice, practice and practice...:)
