    Taken underwater in daylight. Lots of pp. Added loads of black, upped exposure and converted to grey scale in LR2. Original background was light blue with lots of particles in water. All hidden by black.
    canon 40d
    canon 60mm 2.8 macro
    twin ikelite strobes (one pointing down on top of jelly, one from side)
    1/80 @ 7.1
    ISO 100

    Good use of b/w conversion. I think if you bring up the highlights in the tentacles and a round of sharpening makes this even nicer. Good use of lighting.

    I like it a lot Martin !! The suggested sharpening will make a difference, would also suggest adding a little canvas on top !!

    Thanks all, I've already sharpened, so maybe the shot isn't quite high enough in quality to do anymore. I may need to go and make another shot just like it, only sharper:) Alfred, this one will be easy to add some canvas to being all black.

    Beautiful, love the transparency and layers of the jelly that are brought out.
