    Nice catch, maybe an ISO of 800 would have given a slightly faster SS, could have helped with the sharpness. Also a slightly lower angle would have been nice.

    The captured action is great but I wish there were less motion blur, higher ISO might have helped.

    Excellent timing on capture! Agree with tech comments. I shoot a D300 and would def. agree with higher ISO in this circumstance. 800-1000. Would rather have a sharp, slightly noisy picture, than low noise but blurry.

    You might have gone with f/8 instead of f/11. Same thing as above, trade off DOF for sharpness. I have that lens, and f/8 is really in its sweet spot.
