    I got this photo from a hide, I also used a feeder to lure in the birds.

    Canon 40D
    100-400mm lens @ 400mm
    f/5.6
    1/500 sec
    ISO 160
    no flash

    From horizontal to vertical crop, sharpened, brightened.

    Sharpness, BG and perch look good. I wish the head were angled toward you and if you have, I would give it more room at the bottom since the clipped tail is not ideal.

    Caleb:

    Nice sparrow, nicely exposed, sharp on the eye.

    The head is away a bit, the tail clipped.

    I like the luminosity level of the bird, but would tone down the brighter areas of the trunk, so as to not compete so much with the bird.
