    Another one from Galveston beach. I was lying flat on the ground and he pretty much ran by me. I consider myself lucky to even get it this sharp. Almost full-frame. cropped from above. The beach was indeed sloping.

    40D. 400 f5.6 at f/8. iso 320. 1/2000. no exposure comp. no flash.

    All opinions welcome.

    Nice and sharp in muted light. Unless he's running on a slope, he needs a CCW rotation. I like the catch light and may remove the bill shine if it's something you do.

    Fabs...He was running on the slope...but admitedly, the angle wasnt as much as in the photo. Rotation to completely level it means I will need to add a lot of canvas....so I have left it as is. Thx for the critique.

    You really needed that shutter speed for this speedy little guy. Sharpness and pose look good. The light is a bit harsh and I wish for a bit more head turn. I would also remove the sheen on the bill.

    Beautiful action image. I like the slope. I would give more room and the top and right. The BG would easily allow this.
