    Default Steller's Sea Lions

One can usually count on gangs of sea lions to provide some amusement when doing coastal survey's. This groups popped up if ever so briefly in some nice light. A bit cramped but I kind of like the action. Might be better as a pano though?

Very nice Declan, looks sharp and well exposed. I wonder if a crop from the top would make it a stronger composition.

Hi Declan, based on the kit used, I think you have done really well. Even looking on the laptop the colour balance looks good with focus on the 'right' seal. I might be tempted to do a little select sharpening on the main seal and crop to a 'pano' format. This might help the whole composition overall, IMHO.:D Nice to see the interaction within the group.

Another vote for a pano, provided there is enough room on top since the lions are all facing up. Very nice capture and good depth of field for f 7.1

Agree with the pano crop idea. Exposure and color looks good. Overall nice pleasing image.

Nice capture with so many animals in the shot. Pano idea sounds great.

Seems unanimous, even I pondered this as I posted the original so here is a version with a little off the top and even more off the bottom. Alas there was nothing to add to the front. A bit more sharpening on the main guy too but it may not show.
