I was getting jealous seeing all the nice Halloween Pennant images so I dug around in my unprocessed files and found this one that I thought had some promise.

So beautiful Don! Love the wing position, angle, super bg and that little bit of red of the buds is the cherry on top.:)

Hi Don, wonderful image! I like the angle you got on the dragonfly. Together with the perch, that's what really makes this image stand out from the Halloween Pennant images I've seen before. Some may wish for a little more DOF, but I also like the soft feel the OOF wingtips and tail give to the image.

Beautiful perch and background and a great looking dragon. I would like to see more of the wings as that is what makes this species truly grand but I still would say this shot is real winner.

I don't know how you could ask more from an image than this. His expression is delightful and the wing position is outstanding. Even the plant adds to the image. Excellent work, Don!

    Fantastic, Don!
It's always nice (and rare it seems) when a dragon lands on a perch with a bit of color.

Hey Don, I really like the camera positiong on this one. Looks different the the typical D-fly image. Good details and BG.
