    D300, 400 2.8 w/1.4tc, 1/1000, f4, iso400, man exp.
    Eagle leaving snag near nest and headed straight at me. Wish I had bare lens at that point as I have others images with clipped wings as he got too close.

    I like the fierce look on its face. I am not sure why the feet are so much darker than the yellow on the face but the effect bothers me. Perhaps a little selective lightening of the feet would help.

    Thanks for the comments Art. Feet were pretty shadowed here I recall with those big wings. I opened up the shadows on the feet in nx and added a slight cooling filter, I think it helps.

    Todd, pretty sharp for such a slow ss ( 1/100 ) A different perspective from the norm, and love the look on his face. Well captured.
