    Default On the hunt

5.45pm. The Mapula Wild Dog pack of 10 were on the trail of a herd of Impala and the last rays of sunlight were fading.
Within minutes of this image being taken they had separated one individual and were closing in.

Love the intense stare, crop choice looks good. Some may find oof grass to be a problem but face is in the clear. Well done.

I like it as presented Normally would be asking for space around the virtual feet but the blending looks very well and pleasing Love the intense look, sharp profile and all clean !!! Big Congrats !!!

    Marc,

You have done very well with the Wild Dogs at Mapula, this is another stunner, the tongue position makes it special.

I like the pose Marc and comp. If it was toward the last rays of light I think you could afford to be a little warmer overall. At 1/180 I also feel you could have seriously upped the ISO (especially with the NIKON kit), as the sharpness isn't quite there for me, or, it just needs a little more USM on the head, dependent on the original Marc.

Marc, the light does it for me on his face. If adding virtual feet space, I would also consider adding space to the left.

Really like the way the sun brings out the color of the eye. Maybe just a little more space on the left.

Marc, lovely profile capture of his head, and in good light too.
