These first year cubs got a little bored when mom was digging for clams at the beach, so they decided to have a little wrestling match. Photo was taken on the beach at low tide in Lake Clark National Park. Brown bears would come out during low tide and dig for clams. Tides here would change 18 to 20 feet, twice a day.
Canon 40D, f/8 1/1000, ISO 400, 500mm f/4 Canon lens. Some cropping and levels, sharpening in PS.
welcome to BPN Louis!
lovely interaction here from a great viewing angle. I notice 2 things that bother me:
1. there appears to be a 'halo' of residual noise left around the bears from incomplete noise reduction
2. the bears aren't as sharp as they could be
Great interaction and like the bg very much !! Agree with suggestions by Morkel, might be helpful if you only sharpen the head area and very little the rest !! This is one of those images makes you feel good !!!
