    The Karoo along with the Kalahari are among my favorite places to visit and photograph. If you want to reconnect or recharge your spiritual batteries these places are hard to beat.

    This is a typical Karoo scene in winter...

    D3 200-400 MM @ 210 , F6.3 ISO 800 , wimberly head plus car bracket .

    Hey Peter, I always see the karoo in december, driving up and down to CT. I like the setting here, and good to see some of the Red Hartebeest looking at you. Lovely pastel colours in the sky.

    just a lovely scene Peter! was this in Mountain Zebra NP or Karoo NP?
    did you run a filter on it? the details in the BG look very smooth...almost too smooth? might be just me...

    Neat shot Peter. The mountain BG reminds me of a C.M. Russell painting.

    Morkel no filters used , just basic Ps , levls,curves, etc.
