    Hi all! This is my first post here on BPN.
    Got this shot a while ago, its one of my favorites!

    Welcome, Paul! I'm glad to see you posting on BPN. You did an excellent job making a very sharp, detailed image of this Blue Jay. All the tech stuff looks right on. I think this image would be even stronger if you cropped from the top, bottom and back of the frame (taking his eye out of dead-center), placing it closer to the right-third line. Keep up the good work!

    Hi Paul and welcome to BPN. Nice portrait in nice light. I would run NR on the BG selectively to smooth it out some.

    Very nice capture. Really shows the details. Agree with Blake about getting the eye in a power point but I can live with it as is. You must have gotten pretty close.
