I just love the shape of these guys heads Judy. Well timed to capture the flapping wings, and I like the warm colours.

Lovely light Judy. Nice low angle, which isn't that easy at Viera!

Love it, Love it, Love it!
I wish this were my image I like it that much! Does it need a small amount of CCW?

Hi Judy Lynn - Love this shot as its hard enough to get close to a merganser, then you did great with the high dynamic contrast and you even got him in an action pose - the image trifecta. Great shot.

Lovely image. Nice butter light. When I photograph Hoodies where I live I have to be in a blind . Did you use a blind for this image. Again great image.

This one is a beauty Judy.

Like the crop...lighting is beautiful and the exposure is pretty darned food on the highlights.

Blacks looked blocked on the neck especially, but I think you would have lost the highlights in this warm light.

This is where NearUniWB works great...in early and late warm light as you can get more light into the file for the shadows and still hold the red channel.

I love these birds. This is a great action shot in beautiful light. The brown in the water complements the bird nicely.

Judy....excellent shot of an excellent bird. My only suggestion would be to lose the catchlight....but that might just be my preference. Not sure everyone will agree.
