    After reading Arthur Morris's BAA book a few years ago I was on a mission to capture the birds in the way he instructed. Though a boring bird, I was very chuffed with myself when I took this. I'd love to know what you think.

    Chuffed? If that means pleased, then I'd be chuffed too ;) About the only thing that improves this type of image for me is to see right down the throat.

    Well, I have never heard the expression "chuffed" before, but this is a fine image to be sure. I like the composition and the open beak, maybe a bit more light in the dark areas.

    Definitely not your regular portrait image. I guess that I'd be chuffed too.
